Caterpillar Soup - 2025

I learned that caterpillars turn into a soupy state inside their chrysalis before they grow into butterflies. As someone who feels like soup whenever going through a big change, I felt this. Even beautiful butterflies feel like soup sometimes and that is SO REASSURING!!! I drew this to cope with my own soupy-ness and capture the positive aspects of change through the life cycle of a monarch butterfly.
